500 faces cut from Le Petit Larousse Illustré dictionary pages to be used for ATC’s and other mixed media and collage art.
Taken from this French dictionary I found in a used book store’s discard bin. There are tons of amazing images left to use.

You are so very organized. I just grab and rummage for things as I need them. I need to take inspiration from you and develop a system.
What kind of dictionary was it? I don’t think I have ever seen one with so many faces.
Joanne, I just added a photo of the dictionary I got them from. 🙂
That is totally awesome. I hope you won’t mind me “borrowing” your idea!
I am not sure what I love more-the faces or the dictionary itself. It’s amazing!
Hi Casey, can´t see a place to get in touch, so hope you don’t mind a comment here. I love your stuff and wonder if you would be interested in doing a ‘bloghop´? Artists write a little about the person who nominated them and then answer a few questions about their own work (and then nominate two other artists to carry the blog hop on) – the idea being that artists are introduced to each other’s work. Here’s an example:

I really love these! What a great find :))
I have just discovered your page and could just swoon. All art journal blogs are a pleasure, but I can think of no greater joy than finding an old Larousse reference book with illustrations just waiting to be found and transformed. Great stuff!
I had a lot of fun going through it. The images in the Larousse are incredible. Thank you for stopping by and commenting.
