Journal Images and Bits: Finally Organized

Boxes and bags of small bits of paper, images and ephemera finally organized.

Here is one of three clipboards to organize and display the larger images, book pages and postcards.  I sorted through all of my scrap pieces of paper, tossed a ton and trimmed the ones I still love and put them on a metal ring.

Vintage Vials for Altered Art

SCORE: $5 for this box of over 100 vintage pigment powder vials at an indoor community tag sale.  So excited to use them in matchboxes and on other altered art projects.

I’m trying to get adjusted to a new job and some other changes I’ve made,  Can’t wait to get back to art journaling and creating.  I’ve missed it terribly.  My outlook couldn’t be brighter than what it is and I think genuine and real joy is up ahead and right around the corner.

Contessa Art and Junque Journal Page 20 – Feminine

Tired of walking around looking like I am dressed for a funeral or in jeans and t-shirts.  Time to get rid of the chunky shoes and time for some heels.  Gathering the bracelets and rings and earrings I kept in boxes and wearing them again…stepping up the natural colored lip gloss to a shade a bit redder.

I still love my jeans and Dr. Marten boots and Converse tennis shoes, but there’s a lady in me that I have neglected and my husband has missed.  She’s making her way back out.
