Page 25: My homage to Unity Stamp Company – Their stamps are my latest addiction. I am subscribed to both their Kit of the Month Club and SMAK Kit Club. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these stamps and the stamp handles.
Now to clean 2 pages worth of art mess and then off to the movies with my daughters.
Routines….we all have them. I start off working in my journal the same exact way every time, Turn on ShoutCast (New Age Music – Calm Radio), light a bamboo scented candle and gather the same supplies:
Mixed Media Paper, Gesso, Matte Medium, Baby Wipes, Paper Towels, water for cleaning brushes, wax paper behind my paper to keep the mess to a minimum, my old brushes for gesso and medium, and a washcloth to wipe brushes off.
I always start off the the same, but the endings are always different. That’s the amazing and magical thing about telling your stories with art journaling.
Updated Photo of my Contessa Art and Junque Journal – Geez, it’s filling up fast:
Thank you for stopping by. Love and Light to you.
Tired of walking around looking like I am dressed for a funeral or in jeans and t-shirts. Time to get rid of the chunky shoes and time for some heels. Gathering the bracelets and rings and earrings I kept in boxes and wearing them again…stepping up the natural colored lip gloss to a shade a bit redder.
I still love my jeans and Dr. Marten boots and Converse tennis shoes, but there’s a lady in me that I have neglected and my husband has missed. She’s making her way back out.
